i saw a quote somewhere that was attributed to confucius (since he is our ancestor, i knew this would be appropriate for the situation): "it does not matter how slow you go, as long as you do not stop."
as for the hair....i had a bob once, similar to yours, actually (short in back, longer in front), but shorter overall compared to yours. it was high maintenance. and short. and didn't fit in a ponytail. i wore a wide cloth headband when i went running. i'm sure your new hairstyle sets off your now narrower face! yay! ;)
