:: Day 99- 4/11/09 - Summary ::

Phew, no weight gain... but also no weight loss. After a week of eating out, the first thing I did when I got home was head straight to the kitchen and cook. Felt so at home there! I'm going to do a mini primal challenge this coming Mon-Thur, I'll be eating primal(ultimate way to break your weight loss plateau) - no carbs, lots of vege and meat though. See how that goes!

Activities:
Final mission peak hike prep. So... we might not do this at all. We're leaving on Thursday so a good rest period might be nice.

8am: 1/2 banana, few pinches of bread from the farmer's market, cashews

Rest of day: mini fast

Main meal @ SIL's
Pork Tenderloin, Roasted Cauliflower, Healthy Calamari

:: Day 97- 4/10/09 - Summary ::

It's been a week away from my husband, undisturbed 9 hours of sleep, (my tempurpedic pillow), homecooked natural meals and my weighing scale. I wonder how I fared this week! But on the upside, I managed to exercise every day and control my eating relatively well. :)

Activities:
6am Spin class @ 24 hour, 60 mins, 621 cal, HRa 151 HRm 165

7am:

Asides from a large serving of endorphins from spin class, I had eggs, ham and cut fruit.


Random snacks:
2 fish tacos primal style without the tacos.

Main meal @ home sweet home
Carrot soup
Broccoli Rice with Bacon fat

Activities: 860 cal

8am: Random cut fruit, some egg, 1 banana

Random snacks for the day: Nuts, seeds, carrots, banana

Main meal @ Kyoto Restaurant, Salt Lake City
Wow, this place is one of the best I've had in the US. I highly highly recommend it if you were ever visit salt lake. Make sure you sit at the sushi bar and make friends with the three sushi chefs - they were quite hilarious!
I had miso soup, wakame salad (the best i've had, it had some yummy spicy octopus in it), salmon skin roll, toro nigiri, Shiro Maguro Nigiri and a japanese-style toro roll on the house!

:: Day 94- 4/7/09 - Summary ::


Love it when there's a whole foods close by! Look what I picked up yesterday?

Activities: 4.0 mile run, 41:30, 461 cal, HRa 157 HRm 228(is that even possible???), 10.3 min/mile!

8am: 1 apple, 1 banana, 1 packet of emergen-C
(And I actually skipped the "hot breakfast" provided by the hampton inn! :P )

Random snacks: Apple, banana, mix nuts and seeds with apricots

Main meal @ Grille from Ipanema
Various salad bar items (1 plate only) and 1 plate of grilled meat with pineapple. ALso had 1/2 slice of Brazilian chocolate cake.

It's going to be an interesting week. I'm traveling for work in salt lake, but thank God, there is a 24 hour fitness right next door and a whole foods a mile away. It won't be hard to keep this up!

1 "world-famous" rubio fish taco


Main meal @ West Jordan, UT with the team at Market Grill
Garden salad sans dressing with dungeness crab
Cioppino with side of broccoli

Activities: If I can drag the husband out of bed, we really should hit mission peak to train for our trip. And I did drag him out, albeit a little too late since we were in the sorching sun the rest of the morning.
