I am loooonnnngggg overdue on mugshots but i'm going to get Mikee to take one very soon. What you will notice is that the belly is definitely a problem area!

Here's one full length shot I took in the patagucci (haha!) changing room today. I didn't end up getting the R1 pullover but we did pick up the intercontinental pants for the upcoming south america trek.

:: a rabbit ::

While having lunch yesterday at work, I pulled out my little container of carrots and cucumber etc. My coworkers started to make fun of me - "she eats like a rabbit". I immediately tried to defend my eating habits by telling them that I have amazing dinners.

I really don't see why I should be feeling defensive though even though my reflex was to behave that way... I'm the one doing the RIGHT thing. Eating what I need, and eating what is best for me. One of my goals for the future is not to shirk away from what I should really be proud of. If I'm going to be called a rabbit, so be it. Rabbits aren't bad.

:: Day 40 - 2/12/09 Summary ::

Activities: Thursdays are usually rest days because they are packed. I'll try to do a long run tmrw morning and then hit mission peak this weekend. :)

:: Day 38 - 2/10/09 Summary ::

Activities: Nothing... We're going up to the city today right after work to watch a play that Mikee's coworker is acting in.
But the good news is that Hao is bringing bootcamp back! In winter too! For those in the south bay, join me if you can!!!

Breakfast blend
: The usual ...

Snacks for the day: Dried fruit, seeds, nuts, carrots, cucumber

:: Day 37 - 2/9/09 Summary ::

Activities: Not much. Have a full day of work + a group dinner tonight.

Breakfast: Feeling a little bit constipated today so hubbie made a super-fiber-rich morning blend! It was good! I feel some movement!

Rest of day:
1 carrot, 1/5 english cucumber, almonds, sunflower seeds

Dumpling night at Bruce's
I'm making a healthier version of Ming Tsai's Potsticker Recipe. Will likely cut the butter by alot and use a blend of turkey and pork instead. Will also include some Napa in the filling for some fiber. I do like the dipper recipe though!

And my dessert idea, dumplings filled with nutella and strawberries pan fried in butter
