:: Ankle Deep ::

This morning I sent my mum a picture of my swollen ankle:

Her response: "Doesn't look swollen, but color appears different... bruised? Oh...please go for pedicure or just trim your nails." (has been updated because i apparently haven't reported it accurately)

Ouch ... so sorry about the ankle! Some ways to heal up ... keep a compression wrap on it, weight bear as tolerated with or without the crutches, keep it up when you are not moving around, ice as much as possible 20 mins on, and start doing some ankle exercises like point the toes and then flex, making circles or pretending your foot is a paint brush and writing the alphabet ... you will be back to running in no time.

thanks for the tips TOSP! I am definitely trying to strengthen it now!

As for my mum - she's right. I do need to "groom" myself more. I find that i've become so whatever about my groom-level - and i need to definitely maintain it :)
